Stop Payment RequestsStop Check Payment orders will be effective the following business day. A stop payment fee will be incurred when placing a stop check request on a share draft (see our Fee Schedule). Be sure to enter the correct check number and exact dollar amount. The check number must match the check number exactly as it appears on the encoded line at bottom of the check. We need correct information to complete your request.Make sure there's time! If the check is cashed or deposited before or on the same day you initiate a stop payment, there may not be enough time to complete your request. We cannot stop the payment on your check initiated through our bill pay platform, E- Pay.
