Giving Back. Learning More.

GIVE BACK AND GROW

Volunteer and grow your skillset. The Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee are very important to the success of the VFCU member community.

GIVE TO GET

Because Veritas is a member-owned institution, we rely on members of our own community to serve on the Supervisory Committee and Board of Directors. Volunteers represent the best interests of VFCU members, safeguard the Credit Union through financially-sound decision-making, and guide strategy and policy decision. Volunteers serve without monetary compensation, but the benefits of volunteering can grow your expertise and experience in the financial industry. Here are some takeaways:

  • Enhance your resume with professional skill-building.
  • Learn and develop leadership skills and business acumen.
  • Build a larger professional network.
  • Give back to the community at large.
  • Assist in maintaining competitiveness in the financial services marketplace.
  • Increase your finance and financial services knowledge.
  • Refine your executive presence.
  • Gain new skills through continuous education and experience in the credit union environment
  • Nurture the C.U. philosophy of “people helping people.”
